Campus Gateway and Quadrangle
The original Campus consisted of non-descript buildings that defined no central space and failed to create an identity for the College. We created a cohesive campus environment and new pedestrian-friendly image for the College. New buildings form edges, creating a buffer from the road while forming the new Quadrangle as a protected campus green.
The centerpiece of the new work is the Campus Gateway. This simple structure is the symbolic threshold from the Community to the College. Combined with the landscaped forecourt, the Gateway functions as the stage for important College events.
